This place is much more than just a surf camp. It's a beautiful place in the beautiful state of Bahia that is made super special and unique by the people working there and the other guests.
The surfing is very good. You will not only go out for ~2 hours every day. They also do a lot of "dry" exercises to practice the technique, you will go out to a nearby lake to practice paddling, turning etc. and you have the option of doing Yoga and stretching to become more flexible to build out the right muscles. The instructors give helpful and tailored advice and helped me to improve within the 2 weeks that I was there.
Even if you don't surf, you can improve your health quite a bit by spending some time there: you can work out in the gym, do some yoga, go to the beach, eat acai bowls, drink coconut water and so much more. Even when it's raining or the weather is not as great, there is a lot to do: you can read, hang out with the other guests, skate etc.
But the best part is that it all feels like a family. The camp has an amazing chef (Rita), a woman who cooks "home style" Brazilian food every day, you will become friends with the surfing instructors and generally meet a lot of great people there.
I can highly recommend spending some time here, it will make for a beautiful and unique experience! - via
