Could not have picked a better Dive Center and Teacher than Michel Lavoie, the owner and Dive Master of Scuba 6 to complete my PADI Certification. He was patient and very knowledgeable going through all the steps with me over two days. He also shared simpler methods for handling different things while in the water. He took his time taking me through my certification ensuring that I also understood what and why I was doing different steps. Nothing rushed.
His partner, Ginette Bariteau, was a wealth of information concerning water ecology, fish, coral, sponges and other parts of the water environment around the islands. She shares a lot of information prepping you about what you may see prior to your dive and is available to answer questions after the dive about anything you see. They are very experienced divers and very knowledgeable about the waters around all the islands in Bocas Del Toro. We never felt rushed during our dives.
Their dive center is located right in Tio Tom Hostel on the water. Extremely convenient to roll right out of bed a few steps to the dive center. - via
