I reached out to these folks a few days before arriving, and they were very good with communication, answering my questions and providing all the necessary details to help me make my decision to dive with them.
On the day of the dive itself, the team got me set up with my gear, then loaded it on the boat and prepped it for me. Our guide (whose name escapes me!) did a good job going over the dive plan, and while we we dived he did a great job pointing out all sorts of creatures.
The boat crew made short work of recovering the gear (we doffed our gear in the water) and swapping tanks, and ensuring our experience was an easy and comfortable one.
I would dive with Solo Buceo again, and (based on my experience) recommend them if you wish to dive from Cancun. - via
