My cousin & I decided to YOLO & have zero regrets! We met them at the meet up spot, from there took a short car ride to Cabo airport where we got strapped and ready for instructions. We then (5 adults including the pilot & two instructors) packed like sardines in a small plane.
The jump itself isn’t as scary as many would think. The initial jump the instructor is strapped to you and he really does 90% of work. Once you’re in air, it’s much like a gliding motion, kind of similar to being on a big boat that sways back & forth. It’s not like bungee that it’s a free fall and all butterflies. It may look scarier but once you’re mid air and you’re just gliding back and forth, it’s very smooth and comforting.
pro tips:
Try not to look down if you’re scared of heights like I am. I focus my eyes at the sky so I don’t freak myself out.
to calm myself down, I focused on the instructions I was given and replay what I was told to do kn my mind. I prepared my mind to imagine a sky, how my arms would fold, shoulders, knees etc. then I made myself tell me the instructions backwards to make sure I was
I highly recommend you ask for my instructor, Fausto! He had me doing flips, tricks, gliding in air and playing instead of gliding straight down. Those small touches means sooo much bc most of us will not do this often and it’s very expensive. I appreciated that he loved his job so much that it I wasn’t just a passenger to him! He just made my experience PERFCT!!!
There will be an extra charge for pics but they’re worth it!
