I chose UDC for my Discover Scuba Diving class, and trained with Jules. She was great, and I was quickly in the water to learn the few basic skills to dive with an instructor. In the afternoon Sam took me and my friend on the 2 fun dives, and he was patient, professional and did a fantastic job diving with me on my first ever scuba experience. We stopped at 2 dive sites and saw a moray eel. Sam did such a great job I was going to PADI certify, the the timing of the UDC busy staff would take a big chunk from my vacation, so instead we signed up for 2 additional fun dives a few days later. Here Devin did a wonderful job diving with me, and we saw a small shark and a hawk bill turtle! With 4 DSD fun dives along with the UDC instructors I had a wonderful first diving experience and will likely get PADI certified in the future. I’d recommend UDC when diving in Utila-especially for first time divers. - via
