Booked this tour last minute the day before and got a 7pm spot in April. It was plenty dark enough to see the glowing bay and the fish added more glow when they darted under water! It was a half moon and still a bit bright but with the clouds it made the bay brighten up. Pichi was our tour guide and was hilariously great! He knew so much about the bay, the stars/constellations, the mangroves, and all around made the entire tour a fun time. As other reviewers state, you do walk through some muck to get into the bay/kayak and cant take your shoes. They clean your feet off before leaving though so you dont have to worry too much about dirty feet. - via
