I had a fabulous experience at Choco's! I took several lessons with Jose, who is an excellent instructor: professional, personable, knowledgeable, and encouraging. It was my first time ever surfing, and in three lessons I learned to surf the baby waves on my own and some bigger waves with the instructor's help. I could tell that Jose and the other instructors care about each student having a positive and fun experience. Also, its great that they let you come back another day and practice with a surfboard at no extra cost once you've taken a lesson. Highly recommend! - via
