Had an absolutely stunning meal here for an anniversary. Our server Hope was very knowledgeable about the menu, knew exactly how to pair drinks with our food, and was incredibly pleasant the entire evening. We had the butternut squash per Hope’s recommendation and it was fantastic, you won’t find another dish like it you simply MUST go in to try it. The steak tartare was our other appetizer and it made the tartare I had from flame the other week look drab by comparison. Our mains (chicken and pork) were among the best either of us have had in recent memory, and they were paired excellently with a Spanish white wine (thanks again hope for the rec). All in all, one of my favorite meals I have ever had experienced, and certainly the best dining experience I have had in the SGF area. If you only have one night out in Springfield, make sure it’s at progress. - via
