For my first trip to Gran Canaria I wanted to do some diving and Davy Jones Diving was the one that appealed to me the most. I spoke to Peter and he explained everything clearly on the phone. On the day of the dive he picked me up from the hotel, took me to the office to collect the dive gear, fill out the forms and then we set off to Arinaga to dive El Cabron. This was about a 20 minute drive and the dive site was quite remote, but there were also other groups there diving. Peter takes everything slowly, explains everything about the area, the dive, and is very reassuring. He is also very knowledge and very safety conscious. The dive was a shore dive, the water was warm but we dived in a 7mm wetsuit. The water was clear, lots of sealife to see (shoals of various fish, soft coral, starfish, octopus etc) and caves to swim through. I did two dives both about 40 mins and 20m depth. At the end of the day I was dropped off back to the hotel. I had a great experience and when I return with my kids I will go diving with Peter and Davy Jones Diving again. - via
