Tom's Diving Adventures, now owned and operated by Tim, has been serving the region for a long time. Tim is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and his prices are generally very competitive with what you find online. We did our dive certification courses with Tim and had a great time and feel very well prepared for the scuba opportunities that await us. We also purchased several thousand dollars worth of gear from him to get outfitted ourselves and he was great in helping us set those up.
So why only 4 stars? Tim operates on island time, and was chronically tardy to every class by 20 to 50 minutes. With evening classes already running late into the night, this was a point of frustration for all of the students and seemed unprofessional. So go into these classes expecting to wait.
Despite that, we'll continue to work with Tim, and look forward to some of the exciting dive trips he organizes. - via
