Excellent dive centre. These guys live and breath the freedive lifestyle. Relaxed, welcoming, super professional and very good instructors. We dove with Apnea Bali for 2 weeks and dramatically improved our technique and comfort in the water.
Sadly the sea was against us and a few sessions were cancelled, but we managed a day in the centre's pool - excellent, super clean and great pool for dynamic training. A special word for our two instructors, Emma & Jalil (J) they were world-class. Jalil especially is aquaman! I've never seen anyone so comfortable in the water! Both of them taught me so much and helped me refine my ability by a huge amount. I was already wave 3 so their level of high end training is amazing.
Apnea Bali take safety very seriously, we dove in the bay only 50m offshore but a few times during our stay the instructors called the session early because swell and current were too strong for us to safely continue.
Overall - fantastic set up. Great facilities (showers, lockers, toilets etc) training pool is top notch. And the cafe they're building should be amazing once it's opens. Highly recommend.
