The diving was pristine, I only recall seeing divers on 1 or 2 dives throughout the cruise and not so many of us in the water since the boat only hosts up to 8 guests!
Alor is a great destination for divers who want to get out heated paths, and seeking more authenticity. Watch out for the current! I'll be back Adelaar, you are a very special vessel!
I was aboard Adelaar for a 12-day cruise to the Alor Archipelago, east of Flores, in October 2019. This trip was amazing from start to finish! The boat is an experience in itself, and sailing enthusiasts will be delighted to browse all the rooms in search of information on the unique history of this old rig.
Wonderful diving, with enough to satisfy macro enthusiasts as well as pelagic enthusiasts. Keep an eye around the boat because October is whale migration season ;)
Alor is an ideal destination for seasoned divers in search of authenticity, but beware of the current! Adelaar, I will return because you now hold a special place in my heart.

J'étais à bord d'Adelaar pour une croisière de 12 jours sur l'archipel d'Alor, à l'Est de Flores, en Octobre 2019. Ce voyage a été extraordinaire de début à la fin! Le bateau est une expérience à lui tout seul, et les passionnés de navigation seront ravis d'y parcourir toutes les pièces en quête d'informations sur l'histoire unique de ce vieux gréement.
La plongée merveilleuse, avec de quoi satisfaire les passionnés de macro comme les passionnés de pélagiques. Gardez un oeil autour du bateau car Octobre est la saison de migration des baleines ;)
