It was an absolutely epic experience from start to finish. We were sad to have to leave. The spot is perfect for beginners and advanced kiters, offering a full range of conditions.
The school itself offers incredible service and accommodation. We opted for the private villa just a few hundred ft from the kite spot. The villa was great. Every day when we arrived at the kite spot, we were welcomed with smiling faces eager to assist with setting up our equipment and getting us on our way.
My partner took a lesson with Micky, who was amazing and assisted in getting her to an independent level. Johnson and Machaca were also incredible help with launching and landing kites and helping with setup.
The school also offers a secure place to leave you gear at the spot so we didn't have to carry it around at all.
The dinners were also great. Besides the food the it was a great way to decompress from a long afternoon of kiting and share the stoke with the other kiters.
We did 2 incredible downwinders, which was a huge accomplishment for my partner as they were her first.
Owner Riin and manager Helen were extremely helpful and welcoming.
By the end of the trip, we felt like family, and we look forward to visiting Kite Buen Hombre again very soon. - via
