Sands is one of those places that is always busy, always! That's the only thing to be said against it.
The staff are always friendly, food is decent and about the right price.
Best of all, they have a great view across the Forth to Edinburgh and a nice sandy beach right outside.
It's a nice spot to have a warming drink in winter, even better to sit outside in summer. - via
