We hiked up with Teja and had a really fun time even tho the Mt. Batur Top was cloudy. Will still recommend doing the tour even if it’s not super clear!
It’s a family run business so they also have a villa right at the trail (Volcano Side Bali) which was super convenient as we only had to get up at 03:30 to start the hike at 04:00. Teja brought a little breakfast for us.
You will get a flashlight, but I recommend to bring an own headlamp as the trail is hard and you need good vision - especially the gravel part.
On the way up and at the top you will meet street vendors who sell stuff if you need something.
