Had great experience here. Facilitated lessons in advance of trip, then had excellent instructor to get my PADI open water dive certification. Friendly staff, safety first and well organized instruction and dive experience. Also a nice spot to relax after dive or anytime for a beer and a bite. - via
After some timely correspondence from Tom in advance of trip, chose package ‘A’ for 3 days of 2 tank dives. First up was afternoon ocean dive to Underwater Museum and Manchones Reef. 7 divers of mixed experience, with 2 instuctors in fairly shallow waters. Lots of marine life, including small shark. 2nd day was morning ocean dive to deeper reefs. Only 3 divers with one instructor. These drift dives were in deeper water and with strong current. Instructions and safety practices were excellent on dive. Beautiful coral, lots of exploring through nooks & crannies. Leopard rays, sea turtles and other marine life.
I rented all equipment which was in good condition, instruction by Salvador and Roberto respectively, was excellent…very personable and knowledgable. The boat & crew used both days were also very good…my only complaint would be the lack of a head on board.
Saved the best for last, the third day was a trip to Cenotes for Cavern dive. Everything was right on schedule, van ride from hotel was good, 4 other divers in total, so we dove in 2 groups with one instructor. This was an amazing dive in fresh water. The sights were spectacular. First dive Kukulcan had mix of visibility from poor to excellent. We were supplied lights and instruction was again excellent. Second dive Chac-Mool was unreal with crystal clear water, 250’ visibility and just some amazing sights with stalagmites, stalactites, halocline areas, surface lighting coming through. My personal best dive ever. The dive was recorded by professional photographer and the package was reasonable and the shots simply stunning. Instructor Chris was great, showed us everything to see, including surfacing in the air dome.
I will definitely be coming back. - via
