My wife and I sought out scuba certification at Toucan after doing a couple of intro courses on cruise ships. We had no real experience. Rick, Julie, and the rest of their crew took us under their wings and showed us the safe and correct way.
That was five years ago. I can only say that the experience has been beyond wonderful. We’ve dove Indonesia, Fiji, the Caribbean, Belize, Turks/Caicos, and other islands. The wildlife has been spectacular. The friends made even more so. Never in our wildest dreams did we think it would turn into this. The Bird (Rick) and Julie run a top notch outfit and know how to take care of their students/divers/friends. Looking forward to another five, or ten, or twenty years of adventures with them. - via
