I believe we did the 12,500 feet jump (we got certificates, I just can't remember). Absolutely breathtaking experience - would recommend to everyone and anyone. Seems like such a scary thing to do, your nerves will be shot, especially watching the plane climb higher and higher! But once you know it is "Go-Time", you have to just let go (literally) - we did tandem :) "The airplane ride to 10,500 or 12,500 feet is about 25 minutes (depending on the airplane used), circling Niagara Falls1 on the way up. Once at altitude, you then freefall for approximately 45 seconds before the instructor opens the main parachute. To finish your skydiving experience, you help fly the parachute back to the landing area." - via google
