We went on an ocean safari and unfortunately nobody listens to us when clearly stating that one person had never snorkeled before. The sea was very rough and no instructions were given on how to handle the basics. The staff was very kind and sympathetic but unfortunately unable to deal with the situation. When this inexperienced person when back onto the boat he hurt himself and was bleeding. It seems there was no first aid kit on board. When arriving back to the station we asked a manager for disinfectant but also there no wound treatment was offered. Eventually hand disinfectant was brought. We explained, that we told everybody many times, that one person had not snorkeled before. To my big surprise, we were blamed for going onto the tour, even though someone was snorkeling for the first time. This is the first time I ever post an unpleasant feeling about a service I received, and I feel that the company should improve their attitude towards snorkeling beginners as well as their attitude towards customers who had an unpleasant experience. In a nutshell, it might be interesting for experienced snorkelers, however the water is really wavy that actually the vision is very poor. Compared to snorkeling in Thailand, Indonesia, and Okinawa, it doesn’t really cut the mustard, sorry! - via
