I was a complete failure in my first 2 attempts to get certified and totally panic stricken to remove my mask underwater, but I wanted to try once again to surprise my son who got certified at 10 years old with Don and was graduating from college in June. I so wanted to go on a mother son scuba trip with him as a graduation gift. Don took me on and couldn't have been more patient and kind. I am sure I was the hardest student he had ever had, but he never showed it. He only showed me kindness, patience and understanding. I now can easily take off my mask, replace it and clear without panic or fear. That is ALL thanks to Don! I couldn't ask for a better teacher anywhere! Thanks Don for helping me through this and giving me the confidence that I can succeed! - via
