THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! DO NOT BOOK IT!
Reading all the positive (old reviews) we have booked a stay with them. After we have send the money (payment for the entire week is required upfront) they went completely dark on us and did not reply to any of our multiple Emails. After lots of research we were able to get a WhatsApp contact from somebody on the island. That person told us that the manager has changed and that they cannot see our reservation even though they saw the payment. We thus kept on asking for a confirmation which we did not receive up until less than 24h before the pick up time, which is obviously ridiculous considering how remote this place is.
We feel like they never wanted us to come but only wanted to keep the money which we still have not got back (and properly never will). We sent our mails way before any cancellation policy but they never answered them and only responded a day in advance of our trip when a cancellation was no longer possible and now they do not want to give us the paid amount back - that is a total scam!
If you plan to stay on the island you should also note they do not offer any meals on the island any more. They expect guests to cook for one week without any cooling options.
Please read the other new reviews on Google and Trip advisor that report how the atmosphere on the island has changed due to the new persons in charge. As we never stayed we can only report about the horrible booking process. - via
