We did the bull shark dive and 4 cenote dives with Dive Mike and they were amazing! We wouldn't dive with anyone else in Tulum or Playa del Carmen. Jorge and Alfredo were so helpful and kind, they both made you feel very calm and looked after. All our dives were incredible, we got to do long dives, the equipment was good and we didn't feel rushed. Their price was much better than a lot of other companies offered. The bull shark dive was very respectful of the animals, they contribute to shark ID and population monitoring which most other companies don't. If you are thinking about it, definitely do it and book with these guys! - via 
We were pretty disappointed in our 3 dive day at Turneffe atoll with Frenchies. The reef itself was beautiful, but all of the 3 drift dive sites were right next to eachother and looked exactly the same. We came a long way to see the reef and purposely picked this company because they did 3 dive days, in hopes we would have different experiences at each site. The dives were also incredibly short, and not because anyone in our group was low on air, in fact, our DM only asked us once out of 3 dives what our air was. They just surfaced after less than 40 minutes. The maximum depth of the dive is 24m on the website, but in the dive brief, they tell you you're only allowed 18m. Twice during the dives, our divemaster picked up nudibranchs and also a piece of coral to show us. We could have clearly seen what he was showing without disrupting the wildlife, the company should not be promoting touching wildlife to tourists. It is a damaging practice that is often lethal to the wildlife and harmful to the people touching if they don't understand what things are.
The young guy on board training to be a DM was the best, he was so friendly and helpful. He did all the work in catering for and helping customers while all the other crew sat upstairs or in the downstairs cabin. Its a shame that they continually give out plastic cups all day as its a lot of unnecessary waste, they use plastic forks for lunch rather than just washing up. They also tell guests to throw food scraps overboard, which is not allowed in a marine park.
There were 3 groups of divers on the boat, and the crew were all very efficient at getting us in and out. The crew were very good at helping you move around the boat with your gear and getting it all set up and packed down for you. On the way in, you are told to descend without waiting for the guide, which seems very unsafe. Our guide also never waited for us to get out at the end of the dive, he just got himself sorted and left us in the water to follow.
Got back at 2.15, it was a very expensive, underwhelming, half day tour.
This company has a lot to be improved upon - I would not say it's because of the area, as we did a snorkelling tour with another company that was fantastic. - via
