I just did my OW course here. My instructor Ata is very professional and patient. All the other instructors and stuff here, Ahmed, Youssef, soliman, are also very very nice, friendly and encouraging!
I was a bit scared about diving at the beginning although I really wanted to try. The passion about diving that Ata showed me made me feel more confident about doing this, because he told me, why not try, diving is so much fun!
Dahab is a bit quiet during these “winter months”, so I got the opportunity to do this course one to one. Lucky!
We did some diving in the confined space in the sea for practicing skills, and did four open water diving, 12meters and 18meters deep. It was fun and beautiful! We saw a turtle, some lion fish, triggerfish and lots of other fishes. The corals are very beautiful too.
There’s a nice restaurant just next to the diving center (the same business) offering nice food and hot tea during diving time, there’re lots of cute cats here. It’s a perfect place to kill time when you’ve got some free time. I really love it!
For open water course, I would recommend you to study section 1 and 2 one day before the diving course started to give you a better understanding about diving before go into the water.
