My partner and I just completed our RAID Open Water 20 cert with Steve at Fin-Tastic Diving, LLC. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. Steve was extremely helpful before we signed up for the course and even offered advice on personal gear items that had been purchased outside of Fin-Tastic. (We did end up making several purchases at Fin-Tastic, which were priced competitively and came with excellent customer service to boot!) Steve, Sterling, and Peter made us feel safe and secure during our initial pool dives. The one-on-one teaching was great! We finished our certification process last weekend with a shore dive at Stonington Point, and a boat dive at the Olinda wreck off Fisher's Island. The boat dive in particular was fun- we were taken out on Tommy's boat, the Karma, from Mystic Shipyard East. Tommy is also a seriously vetted diver, and made us feel very welcome and comfortable on his boat. We had a great dive with Steve, Brian, and Sterling. All in all, the great people, high-quality and personal instruction, and products offered by Fin-Tastic and its partners made this a great experience. - via
