I can’t say enough about Pura Vida Divers. Jorge and Ellie were absolutely incredible!!! Seriously when I needed a break from the Water came up with me and made sure I got hydrated and rested before taking me back down. When my ears were having trouble equalizing the first time we went down 12 feet Jorge took me to the steps and went inch by inch until I had learned how to equal. Then, when I couldn’t finish all of the pool dives, Jorge came back at 7 AM the next day to work with me one on one. You just don’t expect people to be that accommodating, but Pura Vida dive masters are! I would recommend them to anybody anytime who wants to learn scuba! I’ll never forget me struggling with the weights our first time in the salt water, and Jorge said “Follow my instruction. go down you’ll be fine” And he was absolutely right. Once I was under the water, the weight of the weights released, and I was in heaven. It’s a magical gift to teach others how to enjoy the underwater world and I’m so so thankful that I was able to learn that from Jorge and Ellie! - via
