If you want to learn how to freedive and/or snorkel/freedive with mantas, do yourself a favor and choose Freedive Nusa. Since I started planning my trip they were so helpful and communicated really well, but when I got to Nusa Penida they surprised me even more. There were not enough people to do the ‘Try Freediving’ course I booked, but they made a lot of effort to have me join another group. The teacher Gaston came early to explain everything so I would feel fine during the excercises and freediving during that day! I learned so much and did better than I ever expected.
The next day I did the Manta Trip and that was incredible! With all the knowledge I learned the day before I went super comfortable, but also for people who just did that experience the material and explanation was professional, clear and all about safety and respecting wild life.
We were blessed by seeing many mantas and later some turtles and beautiful corals and fish at the home reef.
Thank you Freedive Nusa for your flexibility and effort to make it work because for me it was a dream come true. Hope to be back for the full course! - via
