Getting certified for scuba diving had been on my list for years. Finally took the plunge and signed up with my husband and some friends for the Open Water class at Music City Scuba. Sean, Lori, and the entire dive master crew out of this store are incredibly knowledgeable and just overall fantastic folks. The AM class and testing was thorough leading up to the in-pool time. Pool time was structured to give you real practice with all the important skills that would need to be executed during the four open water dives.
We appreciated the opportunity to add another pool-day to feel more comfortable with our skills before the open water day.
The care and attention that these folks have for the sport and for training was evident during those open water days, where they ensured that everyone in the group was able to complete all necessary skills with competency. In addition, the dives were a ton of fun (and challenging) and our group appreciated the sense of humor ;) and passion for diving that the Music City Scuba team obviously has.
We love that we can continue our education with them, and look forward to improving our skills. - via
