I completed my open water and dry suit certification recently -- it was my first time ever diving, and I'm so happy I did it with this group! The student-to-instructor ratio is low, so you get a lot of time to ask questions and get confident in your skills without feeling rushed. The instructors (in my case Chris, Yuli, and Eric) are knowledgable, encouraging, and fun, and they're all highly skilled divers who are happy to share their expertise. Learning to dive was harder both mentally and physically than I thought it would be, but the team at Frank White's were so supportive and experienced that I always felt that I was in good hands. Would definitely recommend to any other newbies out there looking to start their cold-water scuba journey!

Coming back to add that I recently finished my Advanced open water course just over a year later, and had another great experience! As others have noted, Chris is a patient, calm, inspiring instructor who prioritizes safety but also having a good time. If you're looking to up your skills, definitely check out their courses! I'd also recommend the weekly free drop-in dives -- they're a great place to meet other divers and get a guided tour of many of the beautiful dive sites in the area :) - via
