Let me start with - I wish we could have stayed another day to dive and enjoy everything this beautiful resort has to offer! Stayed 3 nights and we completed 2 dives, spent 1 day snorkeling
The Internet connection is extremely fast - have a bar WiFi, and room WiFi! Perfect for processing dive photography and reminiscing about all the beautiful life Mabini showcases. The bar is already an amazing place to hang out, you can spend hours there sipping on drinks (try the mango shake - nonalcoholic for diving the next day), trying Filipino cuisines, and their potato soup is also perfect post-dive.
This is a PADI 5 Star Resort! That means:
- Dives are organized
- Staff is knowledgeable and speaks both Tagalog & English
- There’s an in-house Divemaster and instructors to help guide you. This is good if it’s your first time, first time diving internationally, getting a refresher, going advanced, etc.
- Equipment is good (AquaLung)
Others:
- Your room is literally steps away from the beach. It’s incredible for snorkeling off the beach or watching the mesmerizing sunset every night
- Plenty of furry friends around
- Staff, instructors, dive crowd all great - guests are from all different locations and it was fun to mingle with everyone
Highly recommend to anyone checking out Mabini for diving and relaxation!
Room is also well-equipped and very clean, I would only recommend that the showers get upgraded as they are slightly damaged by seawater and use. - via
