Not recommended for beginners as one of the instructors is not great with supporting new divers or people that are not diving in a regular base. You had to do it all on your own and I had to ask for help. He partnered me with someone I don’t know and was grumpy about him not helping me to put on my equipment. He forgot I’m a client on vacation and it’s ok if I Dont feel comfortable asking a stranger for help. I’d expect the club to help me (at least that’s how it was for in the past) .
Bug problem- in the water I realised my depth gauge was not working. The instructor just said - “that’s why you need a diving watch” and “it’s always like that, they never work”. When I said “no one told be I must bring a diving watch on the emails” he had another smart answer “well I did not email you” as if this is another company I’m dealing with. For me it was the first time I dived with a broken depth gauge which is the only thing you can’t check outside the water. I expected him to acknowledge and take responsibility but nope. If I wasn’t a confident diver, with a group of experienced divers, I’d be terrified. The diving instructor was very blunt and not supportive (far from what the reviews here suggest, although, TBH, the other instructor, for the less experienced divers, seems completely different)
This club could use a bit of service awareness training… - via
