We stayed at the Waidroka Bay Resort in December and had a beautiful time. My husband and I were open water certified there… and what a place to do it. Great instruction, felt super safe
and beautiful sea life.
This is a perfect place for diving, surfing and yoga… and generally just getting away to a peaceful place.
As a family, with 3 teen girls, we stayed 4 days and enjoyed the calm family-like atmosphere. Afternoon volleyball, medicine plant tour, family-style dinners to meet other guests and very friendly staff.
The only ‘watch out’ is that it is a trek from the airport (2-3hrs) so be ready for that... you are rewarded with an off-the-beaten path and unique resort experience.
