I was vacationing in Aruba a few weeks ago. I was on a catamaran day trip and jumped off the boat near the Antilla ship wreck. My Apple Watch snapped off my wrist and immediately sank. Assuming it was gone for good, I planned on buying another one when I got home. I was at the airport the next day getting ready to leave when I got a message from my friend back home saying someone had reached out to her regarding my watch. We got in touch and it was Nathan from Aqua Windie's who is a scuba instructor there. He was on a dive and found my watch at the ship wreck at a depth of 55 feet, and tracked me down through the emergency contacts on my Medical ID. He drove the watch to the airport and was able to get it to me just a few minutes before I boarded the plane to go back home. It's in perfect working condition (Apple doesn't lie when they say it's waterproof!). Thank you so much to Nathan who went above and beyond. There are truly kind, thoughtful people in this world and they work at Aqua Windies! When I come back next year I plan to take a scuba lesson! - via
