I don't normally write reviews but in this case i just had to do it.
My daughter, her cousin and friend all did a week of surf camp July 19th thru the 23rd at Nickerson beach. I was very nervous about the kids being 1st time surfers and not the strongest of swimmers. Well let me tell you the camp was AWESOME from beginning to end. Every child got signed in and out even if you stayed on the beach the girls tracked down every parent for signatures. I didn't run across even one staff member that was FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE & POSITIVE.
The staff was constantly supportive in their instruction and praise. Although this week had very little "surf" it didn't stop them from teaching and riding even the smallest waves. One day it rained for about 30 min. Instead of packing it in they cheered and got the kids psyched to ride in the rain. I highly recommend this camp to any parent who has a child that wants to surf at any level. This week was a great experience and the entire SKUDIN FAMILY is PHENOMANAL !!! Looking forward to next year.
