Jay runs a wonderful dive shop. I had the pleasure of diving w him over 4 weeks and it was fantastic. He has an emphasis on safety, but ensures that everyone gets the most out of each dive, catering to different skill levels. I will definitely be back! - via 
I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Vision Diving Hotel
A warm welcome, friendly staff, you feel at home in Mohammed's lovely little resort.
The restaurant is very affordable and very good, and I highly recommend it. I must add that the chef is attentive, fast and really lovely.
The Internet also works very well, which is very pleasant, especially in such a remote part of Egypt.
The rooms all face the pool and have a small balcony, which provides a pleasant view from the room. At the time of my visit, there was some construction work going on around the hotel, but the small balcony meant I could see and hear very little of it.
The rooms are simply perfect, with excellent bedding, storage space and a very modern bathroom with high-performance showers in terms of hot water and pressure.
The hotel's main asset is the possibility of diving with Mohammed or one of his collaborators.
I had the opportunity to do 8 dives (starting from the beach) with Mohammed in some extraordinary places. We were practically alone on the spots each time, and otherwise no more than 6 divers in the area... an incredible privilege in extremely well-preserved areas. Mohammed, a former Egyptian swimming champion, knows all the good spots and I felt absolutely safe during my dives. I'd like to add that I particularly appreciated the rental equipment, which was very well maintained and of excellent quality compared with other centers.
In short, I highly recommend the Blue Vision Diving hotel, the best hotel for diving in Marsa Alam. Thank you Mohammed for this incredible experience and kindness! See you soon - via
