I love and hate this place. It's wonderful for teaching, training, and maintaining skills. It's a safe environment where divers can dive to their certifications (to include solo and tec). I routinely head there with my rebreather and log 3 hour dives. The staff is friendly, professional, treat divers like adults, always keeping an eye towards safety. There are lots of hidden things to find when you poke around the place, with plenty of guidelines to bring you home if you're lost. It's no tropical paradise, but it's good enough and at an excellent price!
The downside is that it's a large, cold, and (at times) murky gilded cage. That being said, I'll keep coming back as it's close, convenient, and safe (and I have a drysuit).
There are campsites that I've never used, but they look nice, and the plumbed bathrooms are GREAT for taking a post-dive shower and ... you know ... other stuff. The dive shop is ok. Not a lot of stuff, but they carry DUI neck and wrist seals, which is great for me. - via
