My family and I had a great time with the day pass.
However, upon reflection - I would like to mention that while Atlantis looks humongous, there's not a TON to do really. What takes so long is that the routes to the different areas are very circuitous - so you're not able to simply go from point A to point B very efficiently.
Everything is pricey. Lunch for a family of 5 (and I'm talking hot dogs and sandwiches) will set you back nearly $100. So just know you're in for an expensive day.
But I don't want to slam the park. The grounds were very well kept. The staff was top notch. we really liked the lagoon! It's a secluded beach where kids can snorkel and see reef fish.
