I have fallen in love with skiing, and Poley Mountain is the best and closest place I can go. It's perfect for my level(beginner/intermediate), but more experienced skiers may feel underwhelmed with the size of the hill.
The food and beer in the lodge have not disappointed us yet, and the prices are fair.
Rentals and lifts passes are also a great deal. You can also get your lift pass a little cheaper if you get it from Costco Sai t John, and if it's your first time, look into the beginner ski/snowboard package, it's also heavily discounted. - via
