12-21-2023 buddy dive with a guy I met on the way to the shop. he had reservation and they were kind enough to make room for me. I got recertified 2 days earlier from Alux Divers, this was my 3rd port of call so I was still a little nervous, I hadent dove in 20 yrs.
The receptionist was so kind and helped me through everything. my 1st dive was @ Palancar Gardens. The boat ride was nice and only 5 of us, 2 professionals dove on their own and a young, my buddy and I with the dive Master she was German and very kind, she put up with a lot from me, I was the worst at buoyancy. my buddy has dove for most his life and the girl had about 12 dives under her belt and was really good.
2nd dive was Yucab Reef , it was so beautiful down there went through an open ended tiny cave looking reef. My DM was always keeping an eye on me and helping me get down to their level, lol.
did 60 ' both dives, both about 40 min in to out.
They do except tips and they deserve it, the boat Captain as well so bring some cash to be kind. - via
