Can't believe I learned so much hands-on at what was supposed to be only a Surf camp (presuming it was going to be all theory, and no practical)!
In fact our instructors really went out of their way to make this informal sea-side camping experience (like I originally envisioned) into a full-on training session.
On one hand, it was Jennifer - who walked me through all surfing etiquettes, survival techniques & maneuvering skills. On the other hand, there was Lance - a tough task-master, who pushed us through our limits. Both were a killer combination in getting me on-board (literally :)) with my very 1st shot at surfing.
To top it all, I was lucky to be a part of a crew full of trainees that were so co-operative, so friendly!!!
Can't wait to go again... & again - via
