We have been enjoying the trails at Gunstock for years. Unfortunately they are just getting worse now with their staffing and managers. My children have been going through the outreach program with the school which will provide rentals and lessons, we have never had an issue until this year. We do not ask for much and spend a lot of money at Gunstock. I was so taken back by the attitude and demeanor I received by their outreach supervisor when I asked if my child could switch back to snowboarding after trying skiing this year.
I was told in the process of signing up that because she was a snowboarder, if she wanted to try skiing their wouldn't be an issue to switch if she didnt like it since rentals are included during the sxhool sessiins anyway. However when I called to get her switched the woman said absolutely not, then told me that I can purchase snowboard rentals if she wanted to switch.
I am not paying to rent a snowboard when I have already paid for thr season pass with rentals.. absolutely ludicrous. - via
