Customer service is clearly not a priority at Jay Peak Resort. When trying to reserve a room for a friend's July wedding I spoke with Paige in reservations. I asked for pricing options for the many different types of lodging to determine whether our group that we'll be traveling with should take the 'hotel' or 'townhouse/condo' route. When asking for pricing, Paige scoffed at me and told me that she could not do that because they won't know pricing until April or May. I then asked if she could give me a ballpark on pricing or provide last year's pricing in which she scoffed again and told me it was unethical for her to do so. Apparently, Paige needs some help with the definition of ethics and in what realms that applies to. I questioned why that was unethical and she told me that I "must not understand what a resort is because they are a resort and not a best western." I hope that Paige and her poor attitude and customer service is an anomaly at Jay Peak, but regardless, our large group will be exploring AirBnb/Vrbo options for our friends' wedding. - via
