Diving with Scuba Dive Costa Rica was an all-around excellent experience! We were greeted upon arrival at their shop in Flamingo and offered water and coffee. (Our friend was sick and couldn't join us, so they agreed to refund his portion of our payment.) Then we headed to the harbor where we boarded the company's gorgeous double-decker dive boat and headed to Catalinas Island. The island was scenic and like nothing I had ever seen before! On the way, our dive master fully explained all of the safety information we needed to know and the types of creatures we could expect to see under water. The dives were great! (Not the #1 best dive spot we've ever visited, but still worth the trip!) The equipment worked perfectly, expect my depth gauge was cracked. (I stayed at the same level as our dive master and was able to use my partner's, so it wasn't an issue.) Between our first and second dive, we were offered fresh fruit and snacks, along with water and iced tea. As we headed back to the harbor, our dive master showed us a diagram and discussed the fish and other creatures we saw during our two dives. The entire staff was super pleasant, helpful, and safety oriented. I would definitely dive with this company again! - via
