Reading all the reviews, I am absolutely surprised at how we ended up with room 14, given its horrible condition. We had planned to spend a weekend here, enjoying the beautiful views, but the room was far from what we expected. It was evident that the room hadn't been renovated in quite some time. As soon as we entered, my nose was assaulted by the strong smell of insect spray.
Moving to the bathroom, I was utterly shocked to find cables sticking out 5 cm from the shower water stream – a clear safety hazard. The air conditioning unit was equally disappointing; its noise level was comparable to a small electric station operating in the room. To top it off, we had some uninvited guests in the form of COCKROACHES ??
On a positive note, the food was quite good. However, the perplexing part was why we were assigned a room that clearly wasn't ready for guests. Our first weekend getaway turned out to be miserable and thoroughly disappointing. Adding to the frustration was the fact that the room came with a hefty price tag that simply didn't match its quality.
Despite the room woes, I must admit that the location was perfect for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. - via
