Purchased two excursions from this company June 2021 in Cabo at Riu Palace. The wave runner rolled over while I was sitting next to the owner asking for the time left on the water. My kill switch cord naturally came off. After less then a minute the owner next to us righted it in the water, we climbed on. He told me to start it without the kill switch cord and then claimed I damaged it. Had three men surround me on the beach and threatened a minimum charge of $300 up to $13k! Kept my drivers license and credit card for over half an hour. Claimed I didn’t follow the rules, damaged the motor with water flooding and took it out of commission for the day and it was going to be very expensive to fix. Finally an American couples husband came to my rescue. Who witnessed the whole event. So fair warning I traveled there with my young daughter and they tried to take advantage of me as an easy target.
Later that afternoon took the glass boat tour. The water excursion was fabulous. The staff very pleasant and knowledgeable.
However, the driver to and from this tour was supposed to give us one hour afterwards for either shopping or going to eat. He refused to tell us a time and meeting place. We basically had to go with him, to shop and eat at the place he chose only! Of our group one man stayed. The rest of the group asked to be taken back to our resorts.
Paid full price to be harassed and mislead. - via
