I just completed the Open Diver certification and I am eternally grateful to Kelsea, Tony and Nate for their empathy and professionalism. I am not that comfortable in the ocean and have an irrational phobia of swallowing sea water. On my first dive in the ocean, I descended and couldn't see a thing (to be fair, the visibility was horrible too). Tony held my hand for what felt like 2 minutes until I could clear my mask and settle down. Throughout the training, they all showed incredible caring towards the 10 students and on our last dive, it paid off when we saw sea lions, sea cucumbers, gorgeous schools of fish and mermaid's purse. Kudos to AWS for hiring incredible staff! - via
