Friendly atmosphere, great organisation and fantastic diving. I am looking forward to my next day's diving with them. EDIT (Summer 2023): Due to our initial experience as qualified divers we decided to use them again to sign my son up for a junior open water course. He did the bubble maker the first time and loved it. I spoke to the centre to ask what diving at Easter would be like as we were worried about the cold and they said it should be fine. After forking 395e out for the course he passed the theory with flying colours. This was where the issues started. On the first open water experience the centre clearly expected cold water as he was fully kitted with mask and gloves. There is no initial pool training so the first experience for a 10 year old was to do mask clearing in the sea in 14 degrees which resulted in a single dive of 5 mins and then an aborted day. The second day we were assured would be better at La Herradura but we had a similar experience. We spoke to the centre about how this could be resolved and after some awkward conversations arranged a return trip in the summer but by then it was too late- our son was no longer comfortable going in the sea so on the first attempt on the return visit, would not even go in the sea beyond his ankles which is an issue we now have to resolve, We tried to discuss further after spending some time snorkelling to get over the hump but the conversation with the centre became increasingly difficult. It now looks like the theory training that did count towards his record will lapse before we get a chance to complete the training with another centre at which point we really will have nothing to show for the cost of the course. The centre should never have agreed to Easter training for a 10 year old. As qualified divers we should have known better about the sea conditions at that time of year but we trusted the advice from the centre who stated it would likely be fine. It is with disappointment as regular visitors to the area that we will not be using them again. The extra star is for the instructors however - who were brilliant given the circumstances - the issue is purely down to what appears to be a commercially driven decision to agree to the initial Easter signup and then the poor and uncomfortable attempts to rectify the initial mistake. - via
