From start to finish and in between, my experience was amazing. I had pondered about doing this event from my bucket list for my birthday. I searched and found SkyDive Orange. The reviews and their safety record assured me that I need not look any further. The moment had arrived, but due to the incompetence of my laptop, I found myself being delayed. So, what did we do before technology arrived, I went manual. I phoned and spoke with Jayln. I explained my issue and she squared me away. I also was in contact with Whitney. I did not want to miss the opportunity to experience something I always thought about doing especially for my birthday. With the help of Jayln and Whitney, I was getting closer to making the possible my reality. When I arrived on Saturday (16 March 2024 a day I will remember), I was further assisted by a lady (I apologize for not asking her name) who checked me in. The energy of everyone I met was outstanding and positive. It was really something for me to see the number of people going about skydiving. I took the time to chat with them about how they got involved in skydiving. Several of them told me their journey started with a tandem jump, and they have been hooked ever since. My name was called by John Smith. His energy and enthusiasm were off the chart. He shared with me that he had finished nursing school. The bonds of tandem were growing. I knew I was excellent hands. He got my kitted out and ready to go. Megan (forgive me if I misspelled) was next up. She interviewed me before my jump. Up and away, we went and out the door. John did an amazing job. He erased any concerns I may have had. He kept things lighthearted. He made sure I was having fun from the hangar to the tarmac, in the aircraft, to the sky, and in between the air to ground. All of it, the entire event is well worth the admission. Without a doubt, I would do this again. I really appreciated John and Megan helping me celebrate my birthday by skydiving with me.. I am over the moon with this amazing experience. If you are contemplating tandem jumping, just do it. Plan today with SkyDive Orange, and definitely get the video and photo package. Capturing your moment is priceless!
