We were booked for paraflight at 5 pm. The operator called us at around 9 am to ask if we can resched to an earlier time due to weather conditions. We said it won’t be possible but we can try as we were coming from Christchurch. The operator said it’s algood to just stick with the original time. We had bad reception on the way to Queenstown so we missed his call at 1 pm. We tried calling back a couple of times but no one was picking up. We got to the location at 4 pm and got told that the paraflights closed early. No messages or calls left. They could’ve left us a simple message saying they were closing early and cancelling our flight. They also could’ve just cancelled our flight in the first place and we would’ve understood. It was so unorganised and they shouldn’t have closed early knowing that someone was booked at a later time. Anyway, he gave us a refund for the cancelled flight. Hopefully they’ll be more organised next time. - via
