I absolutely love booking with Daniel Johnson’s hangout. We recently visited for the second time during a cruise to the Routan. We booked for the hangout and island tour with adding on the iguana park. You just have to walk from the port area down the hill and they are there in the yellow shirts waiting to pick you up. The hangout is the first stop and it’s so much fun. Being able to hold a sloth and be in the monkey/bird cages is a great experience. Minus the monkeys trying to eat my hair, don’t use coconut shampoo lol. Apparently they really like coconuts. After the hangout our private taxi took us to the iguana park which is only 10$ pp and really cool. After that we go to the west end for the chocolate factory and a bit of shopping, then off to lunch. Norma took us to a really nice restaurant with the best view. Last stop Las Palmas which is absolutely gorgeous!! The white sand beach with crystal clear waters with plenty of amenities. The restaurant there literally had the best pina colada that I have had in my life. (Wish I would’ve asked for the recipe). The waiter was able to help us rent very cheaply I may add a couple of kayaks which my daughter and her significant other enjoyed.
We enjoyed our time at the beach and then get taken back to port on hour before ship departure. I know booking outside of the cruise ship can be nerve racking but trust this group. They take care of you fully and our tour guide Norma is the best she is very nice and informative about the island we requested her for the second trip. Next time you cruise to this location book this!! - via
