What a fantastic team!
I travelled with my family of 5 for a long anticipated scuba vacation in Cozumel. The outstanding reviews in regards to professionalism and safety directed me to ScubaLife, as I had my 13 & 11 year old daughters wanting to certify as open water divers.
Carly, at the front desk, is very responsive and answered all my questions and concerns regarding getting my girls certified via referral, and helped me schedule everyone's dives. We had 6 days (32 tanks total) of diving scheduled, which gave me a good sampling of their guides, instructors and boat captains. As someone who dives as part of their profession, I was impressed with the teams attention to safety and detail. Their pre-dive briefings were professional & educational all while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
I felt at ease leaving my girls with Javier (Quisles) after seeing him get down to their level to explain clearly what to expect on their 1st open water dives. They loved their 8 dives with Quisles, Diego, eagle eyed Jaime and Dave who paid close attention to them and pointed out lots of cool sea life. My wife loved the refresher dive with Jorge and couldn't stop talking about the 6' barracuda they drifted by! Jaime and Charlotte were also very attentive to my 8 year old boy who, while too young to dive, loved his snorkeling adventures while the rest of the family were diving. Again, I felt very at ease entrusting my loved ones with this group.
I had the chance to dive with ScubaLife's owner JP in some adverse current conditions and witness him make some tough calls to ensure everyone's safety at the end of the day. This company is a big family who all share a love of the ocean and the life within. They are proud of the conservation efforts they are making to ensure the health of their local ecosystem.
